Dr. Daryna Dementieva is a Responsible AI and Language Technologies researcher at the Technical University of Munich. She received her PhD in 2022 with the dissertation „Methods for Fighting Harmful Multilingual Textual Content“, developing multilingual NLP methods to combat toxic speech and fake news. She received multiple recognitions, including the ACL 2025 Best Resource Paper Award and recognition by UNESCO. She is the organiser of the NLP for Positive Impact Workshop and the TextDetox and LLMs with Limited Resources shared tasks.

Prof. Dr. Hans Uszkoreit
Title: Language AI for Inclusion and Participation
Hans Uszkoreit is Scientific Director at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Berlin and AI enterprise consultant. He has worked in AI for 40+ years as a professor, research executive and entrepreneur in Germany the USA and China with a focus on language and knowledge technologies. Uszkoreit has founded and led several AI startups and served as Chief AI Advisor for Lenovo. His research results in AI and computational linguistics are documented in more than 250 publications.
